CASR and adenoma: Dividing patients into two groups based on the presence or absence of CASR polymorphism (38 with SNPs and 30 wild-type), the SNP group showed higher frequencies of atypical adenomas and parathyroid carcinomas, whereas typical adenomas were more prevalent in the wild-type group: however, chi-square analysis did not reveal statistically significant differences (p = 0.1796).
