Radiologic investigations revealed no evidence of metastatic disease, and comprehensive genetic testing utilizing next-generation sequencing (NGS) identified no pathogenic variants in the germline genes examined, nor in the <i>BRAF</i>, <i>NRAS</i>, <i>KRAS</i>, and <i>TP53</i> genes within the excised lesion. The gene discussed is NRAS; the disease is metastatic neoplasm.
