Al Omar et al. [27] reported that five activating KIR genes (2DS1, 2DS2, 2DS3, 2DS5, and 3DS1) were more frequent in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC), with the highest risk associated with the 3DS1 gene, followed by the 2DS1 gene, while 2DS2 showed an inverse relationship with CRC risk [27]. Here, KIR3DL1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
