In this study, we aimed to investigate the potential role of specific molecular biomarkers in suicide risk by (i) analyzing the distribution of selected polymorphisms in the CRHR1, FKBP5, and NTRK2 genes among 196 individuals with and without suicidal behaviors, (ii) assessing the association between these variants and the severity of suicidal tendencies or the presence of psychiatric disorders, and (iii) examining the interaction between molecular markers and psychosocial factors through the integration of clinical, socio-demographic, and molecular data. The gene discussed is FKBP5; the disease is psychiatric disorder.
