Colorectal cancer (CRC) includes colon and rectal cancers and involves mutations in Adenomatous Polyposis Coli (APC), KRAS, B-Raf Proto-Oncogene, Serine/Threonine Kinase (BRAF), and Tumor Protein 53 (TP53) genes (Figure 2), often progressing silently until diagnosed [24,25]; over 150,000 cases and 50,000 deaths are projected in 2024 [26]. This evidence concerns the gene APC and colorectal carcinoma.
