KRAS and colorectal carcinoma: While proximal and distal KRAS-mutant tumors did not differ significantly in survival or sex representation (p = 0.7774; p = 0.955), NF1-mutated primary CRC cases demonstrated significantly better survival than NF1 wild-type tumors (p = 0.00001), suggesting that NF1 may serve as a favorable prognostic marker in early-stage disease.
