The administration of MCC950, a highly potent and specific inhibitor of NLRP3, effectively blocked YOD1-mediated coagulation in MRSA-induced sepsis, thereby supporting the role of YOD1 in regulating NLRP3 inflammasome-dependent coagulation during MRSA-induced disseminated intravascular coagulation [77]. Here, NLRP3 is linked to Disseminated intravascular coagulation.
