Mechanistically, miR-146a-5p enhances YY1 recruitment to upregulate SVEP1 expression in CAFs and enhances CSCs’ properties, and depletion of either miR-146a-5p or SVEP1 significantly sensitized urothelial bladder carcinoma (UBC) cells to gemcitabine–cisplatin combination therapy both in vitro and in vivo [7,72].
