The model included proteins that were dysregulated specifically in FTD (i.e., WIF1, MMP7, GAL, VEGFA, NPDC1, APP, and CCL11; Supplementary Fig. 2), as wel as proteins related to common neurodegenerative processes and other neurodegenerative dementias (i.e., MMP1, MMP10, CHIT1, CCL3, PRDX1, and DDC; Supplementary Fig. 2), or reported to be associated with AD (i.e., CLEC5A; Supplementary Fig. 2). This evidence concerns the gene NPDC1 and Alzheimer disease.
