PUFA%, omega-6%, omega-3%, LA%, and DHA% have significant negative correlation with the following brain disorders, including the three substance use disorders (OD: rg = −0.23 ∼ −0.40, P < 0.05; AD: rg = −0.18 ∼ −0.30, P < 0.05; and CUD: rg = −0.20 ∼ −0.27, P < 3 × 10−4), ADHD (rg = −0.22 ∼ −0.33, P < 6.72 × 10−6), PTSD (rg = −0.16 ∼ −0.32, P < 0.05), ANX (rg = −0.22, P < 0.05), INS (rg = −0.12 ∼ −0.20, P < 9 × 10−4), MDD (rg = −0.10 ∼ −0.19, P < 0.05), and NE (rg = −0.08 ∼ −0.14, P < 0.01; Fig. 1A and Supplemental Table S4). This evidence concerns the gene INS and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder.
