INS and Sepsis: Insulin use was associated with a 2.6-fold increased odds of sepsis (OR = 2.6, 95% CI: 2.09–3.34, p < 0.001), whereas SGLT-2 inhibitors and GLP-1 RAs were protective, reducing the odds of sepsis by 44% (OR = 0.56, 95% CI: 0.34–0.91, p = 0.02) and 61% (OR = 0.39, 95% CI: 0.19–0.79, p = 0.009), respectively.
