GPX4 and acute myeloid leukemia: Several studies show that high-FSP1 AML cell lines (KG-1, U937) and primary FLT3-ITD+ blasts survive pharmacologic GPX4 inhibition (RSL3, ML210) but undergo rapid ferroptosis when FSP1 is concurrently silenced or chemically blocked, confirming that the FSP1–CoQ10 axis compensates for GPX4 loss [78,79].
