Within this observed FFL, AR presents dual roles, directly upregulating SKI while simultaneously downregulating miR-137, a well-characterized tumor-suppressor miRNA known to inhibit multiple oncogenes, including SKI, and to regulate key cancer-related processes such as epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT), stemness, and therapy resistance in breast cancer [64,65,66]. This evidence concerns the gene AR and breast cancer.
