Elevated levels of FGF‐2 have been previously reported in different hematological cancers, such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML),37 myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) as well as MPN38 and is associated with poorer prognosis in non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma.39 Here, FGF2 is linked to hematopoietic and lymphoid cell neoplasm.
