Tilianin activates SREBP2 to increase the expression of Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor(LDLR), thereby enhancing LDLR-mediated cholesterol uptake and reducing serum LDL-C levels, which ameliorates dyslipidemia and hepatic steatosis, ultimately inhibiting AS development (Du et al., 2023). This evidence concerns the gene LDLR and Hepatic steatosis.
