EGFR and diffuse astrocytoma: They concurred that histologic IDH-wildtype diffuse astrocytoma of WHO grade II or III that carry a telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) promoter (TERTp) mutation, or an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) amplification, or a whole chromosome 7 gain combined with a whole chromosome 10 loss (+7/-10) are associated with poor patient survival.
