It is active against Candida species and Mycobacterium tuberculosisin vitro and exhibits low cytotoxicity toward mammaliancells. In this study, we further exploredthe antifungal and antibiofilm properties of CDF-GK in vitro and in vivo using Galleria mellonella larvae as an infection model and demonstrated the safety and efficacyof this peptide in treating candidiasis caused by C.krusei. This evidence concerns the gene GK and infection.
