In these replications, we confirmed that IL6 perturbation is associated with lower odds of depression (OR per 24% CRP decrease of 0.993, 95% CI 0.989 to 0.997, P = 0.002) and cholelithiasis or cholecystitis (OR of 0.896, 95% CI 0.803 to 0.999, P = 0.048). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and major depressive disorder.
