By exploiting the complex signalling cascades of the NLRP3 inflammasome, a range of approaches can be applied for its repression including inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome and caspase‐1 activation, and neutralising inflammatory cytokines like IL1β secreted by the NLRP3 inflammasome, which are linked to various cancers and age‐related diseases [8, 9]. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and cancer.
