To date, there have been several reports on various cancers, including glioma, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and clear cell carcinoma, reporting moderate to strong success with radiogenomics approaches detecting particular mutation or methylation patterns.48,49 Testicular cancer histological subtypes reveal genomic heterogeneities such as KIT and KRAS mutations in seminoma and chromosomal instability in teratomas, possibly influencing miRNA expression and imaging features in specific ways. This evidence concerns the gene KIT and central nervous system cancer.
