CD38 and Miyoshi myopathy: Over the past two decades, the standard of care for MM patients has moved beyond conventional chemotherapy to include proteasome inhibitors (PIs - bortezomib, carfilzomib, ixazomib, etc.), immunomodulatory drugs (IMiDs - thalidomide, lenalidomide, pomalidomide, etc.)and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs – daratumumab (anti-CD38), isatuximab (anti-CD38), elotuzumab (anti-SLAMF7), etc.).
