In a recent study, rigosertib showed stronger therapeutic effects in KRAS-mutant, chemotherapy-resistant patient-derived CRC xenograft, compared to the standard therapy (fluoropyrimidine plus oxaliplatin/irinotecan plus bevacizumab), indicating potential of PLK1 inhibitors in the treatment of KRAS-mutated CRC[51].
