SERPINB7 and cancer: Furthermore, apart from the glycolytic genes studied in this study, some other candidate genes identified in integrated analysis, such as Nectin cell adhesion molecule 4 (NECTIN4), Kringle-containing transmembrane protein 2 (KREMEN2), Serpin family-B member 7 (SERPINB7), and basal cell adhesion molecule (BCAM), act as oncogenes during cancer progression [77–81], which remain to be further studied in BC.
