The main finding was the significant association of plasma biomarkers of glial activity (i.e., GFAP) and neurodegeneration (i.e. NfL) with atrophy in frontal and medial temporal brain areas as well as CVD in DLB; and the association of amyloid-related pathology biomarkers with atrophy in posterior brain areas and CVD in DLB. This evidence concerns the gene GFAP and Lewy body dementia.
