EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma: The goal of this communication is to discuss the efficacy of targeting immune checkpoints and angiogenesis in patients without having sensitizing mutations in epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), or ROS proto-oncogene 1 (ROS1) oncogenes, and to highlight the exploration of combination therapy for NSCLC treatment without utilizing predictive biomarker responses.
