According to the stratified analysis results, among individuals with consistently high AIP levels, the risk of developing LAA was higher in those aged ≥ 60 years compared to those aged < 60 years, and patients with diabetes had a higher risk of LAA than patients without diabetes, as well as in those with LDL-C < 3.4 mmol/L compared to those with LDL-C ≥ 3.4 mmol/L (both p < 0.05; Table 4). This evidence concerns the gene AIP and diabetes mellitus.
