In this setting, Musashi protein family member MSI2 has recently been linked to tumorigenicity and stemness in aggressive mantle cell lymphoma (Sureda-Gómez et al., 2023) as well as to resistance to PRMT5-targeted therapy in B-cell lymphoma (Erazo et al., 2022), indicating a potential relevance for therapy of hematological malignancies.
