After sensing NET-DNA to the extracellular domain amino acids 21–25, CCDC25 recruits integrin-linked kinase through its intracellular C-terminal and activates β-parvin (an adaptor protein that binds to the integrin-linked kinase) -RAC1 (which is involved in tumorigenesis, proliferation, metastasis events and development of drug resistance (De et al., 2019)) -CDC42 (cell division control protein 42) cascade to induce cytoskeletal rearrangement and targeted migration of tumor cells. The gene discussed is CCDC25; the disease is neoplasm.
