While acute ApoA-I exposure has been reported to promote the M1 phenotype, including increased CXCL10 expression in TAMs in B16-F10 tumor-bearing mice (Zamanian-Daryoush et al., 2013), we did not observe a significant change in secreted levels of CXCL10 or TNFα (data not shown) with the direct exposure of the B16-F10 CM-educated RAW 264.7 macrophages to ApoA-I.
