Figure 1 presents the reasons. Fifty-seven enrolled patients developed POD within 7 days postoperatively or before discharge. Demographic and clinical data for the study participants is also displayed in Table 1. The incidence of POD was 7.23%. Significant differences were found between POD and NPOD groups in terms of age, gender, education, hypertension, MDAS, ASA grade, and intraoperative fluid as determined via Mann–Whitney U test (p < 0.05). Additionally, there were significant differences in CSF Aβ42, T-tau, Aβ42/T-tau, Aβ42/P-tau between the two groups (p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and hypertensive disorder.
