Additionally, thrombus volume was associated with serum hemoglobin level, initial NIHSS score, history of dyslipidemia, previous stroke or transient ischemic attack, and presence of active cancer (all p < 0.05), whereas it was not correlated with the interval from stroke onset to CT, use of tissue plasminogen activator or prior use of antithrombotic agents, and stroke mechanism. Here, PLAT is linked to transient ischemic attack.
