The TLR3 rs3775291 C/T polymorphism has been studied in relation to different viral infections, such as HIV-1 (Sironi et al., 2012), cytomegalovirus (Redondo et al., 2022), tick-borne encephalitis (Kindberg et al., 2011) and hepatitis B virus (HBV) (Chen et al., 2017). Here, TLR3 is linked to viral infectious disease.
