We downloaded the protein staining images from THPA, and found that the protein level of CISD1 was significantly higher in 14 cancers compared with their corresponding normal tissues including breast cancer, cervix cancer, colorectal cancer, lymphoma, renal cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer, stomach cancer, testis cancer, endometrium cancer, and thyroid cancer (Fig. 2), which is consistent with the mRNA analysis in Figure 1. This evidence concerns the gene CISD1 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
