AGT and Osteopenia: Haplotype analysis revealed the AGT (BsmI‐ApaI‐TaqI) haplotype significantly increased the risk of osteopenia (OR 2.04, 95% CI 1.03–4.08, p = 0.036) and osteoporosis (OR 2.90, 95% CI 1.61–5.38, p = 0.00005), with AGT carriers having a 2.8‐fold higher osteoporosis risk, following a recessive inheritance pattern.
