Our research employed DHEA-induced PCOS mice in in vivo experiments and a caspase-3 inhibitor (Z-DEVD-FMK, ZDF) in cellular assays, along with a caspase-1 activity assay in KGN cells; cellular and in vivo data showed that IL2RG regulates pyroptosis via dual caspase pathways and is crucial in linking metabolic stress to PCOS pathogenesis. This evidence concerns the gene IL2RG and polycystic ovary syndrome.
