RRM2 and prostate cancer: Additionally, overexpression of RRM2, associated with poor prognosis in prostate cancer due to its role in DNA repair and synthesis72and downregulation of PRPSAP1, shown to inhibit neuroblastoma and tumor growth in vitro and in vivo by disrupting DNA synthesis73, further underscore the relevance of these pathways (Fig. 2A and Supplementary Fig. 4).
