Aberrant activation of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway plays a key role in the molecular pathological mechanism of IBD, and studies have shown that sublancin-stimulated nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) p65 and κB inhibitor (IκB-α) can enhance the phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 and degrade IκB-α (81). Here, NFKBIA is linked to inflammatory bowel disease.
