Median (IQR) of IL-6 concentration in patients with depression was 2.8 (1.58-5.58) pg/mL in comparison to 1.50 (1.50-1.53) pg/mL in patients without depression, and 2.40 (1.50-5.60) pg/mL in patients with anxiety compared to 1.50 (1.50-2.00) pg/mL in patients without anxiety. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and depressive disorder.
