Differential gene expression analysis between LUAD and LUSC PBMCs found significant upregulation of ERAP2, which encodes an enzyme involved in antigen processing and presentation, in LUAD PBMCs, including NK cells, and significant upregulation of CX3CR1, the fractalkine receptor, whose expression may be associated with better therapy response in NSCLC, in the LUSC T and NK cells (Supplementary File 2) (39, 40). The gene discussed is ERAP2; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
