EGF and eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome: According to the research results, the expression of FBLN1 in ectopic endometrial tissues is significantly increased, and it can be controlled by epidermal growth factor (EGF)‐containing fibulin‐like extracellular matrix protein 1 (EFEMP1), which inhibits ferroptosis process to mediate the increased migration ability of EESCs [180], suggesting the important role of FBLN1 in regulating the EFEMP1‐dependent ferroptosis pathway in the pathogenesis of EMS.
