Among IMQ-induced mouse skin lesions, it produced a notable (p < 0.01) decrease in psoriasiform signs and symptoms, such as a decrease in skin and ear thickness, scales, and erythema, as well as a decrease in proliferation (Ki-67), infiltratory immune cells (neutrophils, mast cells, CD4 + T cells, and macrophages), and (CD31) angiogenesis8.The complicated inflammatory cascade that causes psoriasis is largely mediated by NF-κB, which intensifies immunological responses and keratinocyte dysfunction. Here, NFKB1 is linked to psoriasis.
