The results indicated that PTK6 mRNA is significantly upregulated in 17 types of cancers compared to normal tissue samples, including bladder cancer (BLCA), breast cancer (BRCA), cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CESC), cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), kidney clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), kidney papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PAAD), pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG), prostate cancer (PRAD), thyroid cancer (THCA), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC). This evidence concerns the gene PTK6 and breast cancer.
