Majambu Mbikay et al. supplemented the high-fat diet of mice with quercetin-3-glucoside and observed that it suppressed PCSK9 expression and secretion, enhanced LDLR-mediated cholesterol uptake, and reversed diet-induced steatohepatitis, hyperlipidemia, and hyperinsulinemia. This evidence concerns the gene PCSK9 and hyperlipidemia.
