Comparing our study group with the control group of and Kim et al., ERβ (likely the ER subtype with a main role in estrogen-related CTS pathogenesis) was more commonly represented in the FT fibroblasts and FT synovial lining cells of the study group (p < 0.05 and p < 0.01, respectively).
