Although apolipoprotein E ε4 (APOEε4) allele, located in chromosome 19, has a very strong correlation with disease risk and onset age of “sporadic” Alzheimer’s Disease [21], it was excluded from our model’s features, as the complexity regarding disease causation and prediction risk [22], as well as its high cost, disqualify it as a viable option. This evidence concerns the gene APOE and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
