The women with PCOS who were TSH-matched with the controls had higher levels of anti-TPO (SMD 0.59, 95% CI: [0.27–0.91], p = 0.0003) as did the TSH-not matched women (SMD 0.71, 95% CI: [0.27–1.14], p = 0.002). Here, TPO is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
