Statistical analysis of data obtained from the TCGA database on the levels of expression of genes from the caspase family depending on the age of patients at the time of breast cancer diagnosis confirmed statistically significant higher average levels of CASP2 (p = 0.0038) and CASP4 (p = 0.0092) gene expression in patients aged 51 and younger compared to older people. This evidence concerns the gene CASP4 and breast carcinoma.
