Analyzing the literature data available to us, we can conclude that for the first time we have made an experimental and simultaneous assessment of the expression levels of 11 genes from the caspase family (the CASP1, CASP2, CASP3, CASP4, CASP5, CASP6, CASP7, CASP8, CASP9, CASP10, and CASP14 genes) in patients diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. The gene discussed is CASP2; the disease is triple-negative breast carcinoma.
