Future research should aim to (1) unravel CPA’s precise molecular function in cancer and develop targeting strategies for its modulation; (2) in vitro drug response studies following CPA4 knockdown and overexpression; (3) in vivo studies assessing therapeutic response in models with CPA4 modulations (transgenic and knockout mice, xenografts with cells overexpressing or knockout CPA4); and (4) explore combinatorial strategies through CPA4 targeting and other chemotherapy drugs. This evidence concerns the gene CPA4 and cancer.
