The analysis of 301 resected specimens from stage II–III CRC patients, divided into two groups, high (n = 75) and low (n = 226) CHRNB2 expression groups, using the third quartile of CHRNB2 expression at the cancer site as the cutoff value, showed a trend toward slightly deeper tumor depth and more lymphatic involvement in the high CHRNB2 group; however, there was no significant difference. The gene discussed is CHRNB2; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
