Immune dysregulation is frequently represented with AI/I diseases in patients and may emerge from either primary factors which reveals inborn errors of immunity due to the mutations in FOXP3, AIRE, LRBA, CTLA4 and STAT1, STAT3 genes [3,4,5,6] or secondary causes such as infections by Mycobacterium avium species and Streptococcus pyogenes in inflammatory bowel disease [IBD] and acute rheumatic fever, respectively [7,8]. Here, STAT3 is linked to inflammatory bowel disease.
